CIM Professional Marketing
If you are a department, product, account, brand or business development manager, currently working in an operational or supervisory role and you want to take your marketing knowledge and abilities to an advanced level, this Diploma in Professional Marketing (Level 6) is the perfect course for you. It will help you understand key marketing metrics and measurement techniques and give you the skills you need to interpret relevant insights and make informed strategic decisions.
For the full diploma, you’ll need to study two mandatory modules and a third elective one. Strategic Marketing will help you learn how to take a strategic approach to marketing planning in order to achieve a competitive advantage for your business. This includes an analysis of the current situation and assessment of the internal and external environment and a focus on every stage of the informed plan, complete with the effective management of resources.
In Mastering Metrics, the second mandatory unit, you’ll have the opportunity to explore how managing marketing data is vital for effective decision making. You’ll focus on the value of data, covering a wide range of metrics and analytics and learning how to measure effectiveness in a relevant way.
You’ll then have the option of an elective module. With Driving Innovation, you could explore the relationship between marketing and entrepreneurship, learn how to nurture innovation in your organisation and become The Marketing Champion. Or in Digital Strategy, you’ll see how digital marketing capabilities can be implemented into strategic planning, understanding the impact of digital disruption and learning how to manage and optimise key digital channels.
