Graphic Design & Advertising student, Charlotte has gone on to secure full time work.

After graduating from our BA (Hons) Graphic Design & Advertising foundation course, Charlotte Leicester has gone on to secure full time employment with online fashion retailer Fearless Ltd.

Throughout her studies, Charlotte was creating a portfolio which married concept-based design solutions with a great eye for colour and typography.

She also showed a talent for dealing with live briefs and client facing development through a range of curriculum based commercial projects. Charlotte had the opportunity to work on projects with organisations such as Unity Radio and Stop the Traffik.

The experience and confidence gained from her portfolio and project work led to Charlotte receiving a web publishing placement at WSP Global, one of the world's leading engineering professional services firms.

This placement supported her throughout her second year of study and played a fundamental role in her success securing full time employment with Fearless Ltd.

This was a dream opportunity for fashionista Charlotte. She has now worked on the company identity, drafting the brand guidelines, creating templates for social media content and designing promotional content and digital mailers.

Charlotte described her employment with Fearless Ltd.as ‘her greatest achievement to date’ and says she couldn’t have done it without UCEN Manchester.

She said: “I didn’t have a clue about graphics until I came here – it made me realise what my skills were.”
