Final show is a visual triumph

UCEN Manchester students showcase their work at end of year show

UCEN Manchester students showcase their work at end of year show.

UCEN Manchester students from the Graphic Design and Advertising, and Creative Media and Visual Communication courses held their end of year show.

Entitled Spectrum, the showcase featured a range of work by students using a wide variety of mediums. In addition, students also got the chance to build their entrepreneurial skills by organising all aspects of the showcase, from marketing to funding raising.

Industry experts and mentors attended the show to review the work on display, which provided the perfect opportunity for the students to build a network of contacts in the sector.

Alex Komlosy, lead tutor, supervised the event and said: "The end of year show pushes students to reach their full potential by giving them a platform to showcase what they have achieved during their time on our courses.

"Held in a central Manchester location, with invitations extended to live project collaborators, industry contacts, alumni and next year's UCAS applicants, the event generates excitement and creative energy."
