UCEN Manchester tutor Paul Ashby is topping the computing league table after being named as a Cisco Advanced Level Instructor.

Industry leaders Cisco Networking Academy honoured Paul with the award after UCEN Manchester students were asked for feedback with regards to their tutor, the course itself and the units taught.

The award ranks Paul in the top 25 per cent of instructors across the globe, a total of 46,000 instructors worldwide, in terms of student feedback and performance.

Over the past three years, 95 per cent of Paul's computing students have gained employment in the industry.

Paul said:

Getting this award is personal recognition as well as professional recognition.

"Hearing the students’ feedback is really great, as is the recognition from CISCO. It’s a way of telling me what I’m doing is right, which is a really nice feeling.”
