Advice on payments and fees
The main source of tuition fee support for Higher Education students is through Student Finance England (SFE). Please refer to 5.2 and 5.2.1 of the enclosed Higher Education Tuition Fee Policy 2019/20 for further details.
If your SFE Funding Advice has not been received by the time you are due to enrol, you will be required to complete a direct debit mandate at enrolment. For full information please refer to 5.3 of the Higher Education Tuition Fee Policy 2019/20.
If you have any queries regarding students finance, please visit the Student Finance England (SFE) website.
If you are unsure about which student loans are available to you, we recommend that you get advice as soon as possible. UCEN Manchester’s Careers and Welfare Service provides information on entitlement and can help you make an online application to Student Finance England.
The Careers and Welfare service can be contacted by email: Careers&Welfare@ucenmcr.tmc.ac.uk
Please note that you will not be allowed to complete enrolment without loan confirmation or completing a direct debit mandate.
Student accommodation is provided by Manchester Student Homes, a free, university-run housing service for students.
UCEN Manchester’s Freshers’ Week is part of your induction to degree level study. This is a great chance to meet other new students, find out more about the many ways to get involved with Student Life at UCEN Manchester and celebrate your new adventure into Higher Education.
