Study with us

At UCEN Manchester we make conditional and unconditional offers. Find out more about what these mean as well as managing them.

  • This typically means that your offer is conditional on you achieving certain exam results. You can find the specific details of your individual offer when you log into UCAS Track.
  • Once you have met the conditions of your offer, your Admissions Team will confirm that it is unconditional via UCAS Track and send you further information about how to enrol as a student at UCEN Manchester. This usually happens in August.

Your offer from us might be:

  • A ‘tariff’ offer, e.g. 128 Tariff points from GCE A Levels. (Please note that we do not count tariff points from AS level), or:
  • A ‘grade’ offer, covering A Levels at stated grades, say BBC, or say, BTEC Extended Diploma grades DMM (Distinction/Merit/Merit).

We might specify a minimum grade in a specific Level 3 subject, to ensure that you have the necessary knowledge and skills for your chosen course, e.g. 128 tariff points from GCE A Levels, to include a grade C in GCE A Level Maths.

For more information on the UCAS Tariff, go to the UCAS website.

Before accepting your offer, there are a number of important information points that we ask you to read about the offer and your course, our contract and the related policies, terms and conditions.

This means that you have already met our entry requirements, though you might still need to provide proof of your qualifications or have a DBS check (criminal records check).

The Admissions Team will write to you with further information on how to enrol as a student at UCEN Manchester in August.

Before you accept your offer, there is some important information that we’d like you to read carefully about your course, contract and our related policies and terms and conditions.
